Short Bio

Dr V Senthilkumar completed Ph.D in the field of Concrete Technology from Anna University, Chennai during the year 2014. Completed Post Graduate in Environmental Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore during the year 2009 and Under graduate in Civil Engineering from Institute of Road and Transport Technology, Erode during the year 2000. He has 20 years of experience in academia and 3 years in industry experience. Recognized research supervisor (Ref. No. 2510008) in Civil Engineering at Anna University. Chennai. Research study focuses on Cement Research, Concrete Technology, Environmental Engineering and Structural Engineering. Dr V Senthilkumar completed five Ph D scholars in the area of optimization, concrete corrosion, self-compacting concrete, composite materials and water quality analysis. He has authored and co-authored more than 50 research papers in reputed SCI/SCIE international journals of Q1, Q2 and Q3, Scopus-indexed international journals with a SCOPUS Citations 210 and has a h-index of 8 and a Google Scholar Citations 525 and has a h-index of 12. He has also filed eight patents (one patents granted), completed several consultancy works and received 2.5 Lakhs fund from DST for organizing sponsored training programme. He serves on the Editorial Board member in Urban Climate – Elsevier and Global NEST (High-impact Q1 journal). Acted as a resource person to handle International Lecture series in Dhaka International University (DIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh also handled more than ten Guest lectures in various FDPs and TEQIP programme in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. He has also co-authored one book and one book chapter and presented papers in National and International conferences. Dr. V. Senthil Kumar is dedicated to strengthening the department’s student learning experience, Industry - Institute collaboration, evolving the research ecosystem, and promoting sustainable construction solutions to address real - world Civil Engineering challenges.
