Short Bio

Dr. R. Sowmiya serves as an Assistant Professor (Sr. Gr) of English at Kangeyam Institute of Technology. With an impressive academic journey starting in B.A., M.A., M.Phil.,in English from PSG Arts and Science College. She Completed her Ph.D in 2019 at Bharathiar University. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Communicative English from Bharathiar University. Dr. R. Sowmiyalatha has over 8 years of teaching experience in Sathyabama University and Vel Tech University, along with 2 years of Research experience. Her pedagogical approach emphasizes dynamism, creativity and viewing teaching and learning as evolving processes .Renowned for fostering a dynamic classroom environment filled with meaningful discussions and active student participation. She is deeply committed to nurturing young minds and enhancing their communication skills.
