Dr. S. Packiaraj is an accomplished researcher and academician in the field of Chemistry, with over 15 years of research experience and more than 9 years of dedicated teaching in engineering institutions. He completed his Ph.D. at Bharathiar University, where his research centered on the synthesis, structural characterization, and functional studies of guanidine-based ligands, lanthanide complexes, and advanced inorganic materials. His scientific contributions span inorganic chemistry, solid-state chemistry, materials science, and nanomaterials. He has an impressive publication record with more than 15 Scopus-indexed papers, including several in reputed SCI/WOS journals, alongside a strong citation profile. He has authored a textbook for engineering chemistry, contributed multiple book chapters, and holds a patent on biodegradable sanitary pads using water hyacinth fiber. He is also a recognized Ph.D. research supervisor (Ref. No. 2970059) under Anna University, mentoring research scholars in his areas of expertise. His core competencies include spectroscopy, thermal analysis, crystallography, and advanced materials research. He is an active reviewer for international journals published by Springer, Elsevier, and Wiley, reflecting his strong research credibility. Throughout his academic career, he has been recognized with awards including Best Research Publication, Best Teacher Award, Star Performer, and several NPTEL Topper and Mentor Certificates. He has served as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology and currently serves as Associate Professor at Kangeyam Institute of Technology. Beyond teaching, he has contributed significantly to institutional development through curriculum design, NPTEL coordination, NAAC-related activities, laboratory establishment, and R&D consultancy. Passionate about research, teaching, and scientific outreach, he continues to guide students, present research in national and international forums, and contribute to interdisciplinary chemical sciences.
